Surah Al-Isra 17:85

Coaching Insight

Countless attempts have been made to understand the depths of the soul, yet its immensity remains a mystery to human understanding. Only God holds the true secret of the soul. To define it would impose limitations, confining its infinite nature within the walls of mere words.

No scan, no microscope, no theory can capture its essence. This hidden world within us is known only to the Divine.

Carl Jung, the psychologist who spent his life studying the inner world, said that within us lies a realm filled with symbols, intuition, and spiritual truth. Sufi masters spoke the same language long before. Ibn ʿAta’illah al-Iskandari wrote in his ‘Hikam’ that “the lights of the unseen are reflected in the heart when the veils are lifted,” reminding us that our inner world is far richer and sacred than what we can measure.

The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) spoke of a hidden reality when he said, “Souls are assembled hosts; those that recognized one another came together, and those that did not recognize one another differed,” Reminding us that bonds are formed beyond time and memory, known by the soul before the mind can explain.

The soul, in its boundless essence, is an ever-changing universe, overflowing with mystical dimensions. It is a realm where Divine essence resides, surpassing the magnificence of any mind’s conception. The soul, in its infinite expanse, remains an awe-inspiring mystery, intimately connected to the Divine.

“My soul leads me into the dessert, into the desert of my own self”
