Day 21:

Within God’s Eyes

Verse Startوَاصْبِرْ لِحُكْمِ رَبِّكَ فَإِنَّكَ بِأَعْيُنِنَاVerse End

“So be patient with your Lord’s decree, for you are truly under Our ˹watchful˺ Eyes.”

Surah At-Tur 52:48

Coaching Insight

In colloquial Arabic, when you tell someone “you are in my eyes,” it means, “I will care for you beyond your imagination.” It carries one of the most sacred emotions, and this expression is inspired by the essence of this verse.

When God, the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth, tells us that we are ‘Within His Eyes’, it touches the heart in the deepest way. We often feel alone, yet the unseen world holds endless signs of how much divine care surrounds us in every breath and heartbeat.

We are constantly carried, loved, and seen. When one door closes, a thousand others open. The verse begins with “be patient,” reminding us that although we may want instant answers, patience helps us understand that there is a greater love and plan already at work. Patience is an act of trust and surrender.

Some blessings happen immediately, while others need time. For a moment, turn your attention to the gifts already around you, the free oxygen you breathe, the sunlight, the air, the countless blessings no human can provide. You are cared for. And as for the challenges in your life, patience is your key. With time, you will witness how God works.

Daily Practice

For a moment, imagine having a trustworthy friend who never lets you down. If you face an issue, and they assure you, “Trust me, I’ll sort it out for you,” think about the reassurance you would feel.

Now imagine God Almighty telling you, “You are in My eyes”

Write down five moments when you felt like nothing will work out, then reflect on how God resolved each one with ease or in an unexpected manner.

Book Reference

“The planets stay in orbit, tiny seeds grow into giant trees, weather patterns have kept forests across the globe watered for millions of years, and a single fertilized cell grows into a beautiful baby. We are not doing any of these things as conscious acts of will; they are all being done by the incomprehensible perfection of life itself. If the natural unfolding of the process of life can create and take care of the entire universe, is it really reasonable for us to assume that nothing good will happen unless we force it to?”

“A moment of grace. There rose up within me a profound sense of being loved. I felt “gathered together” and encircled by a Presence completely loving, as if I were enveloped by the music of a love song created just for me. It was not overwhelming or even emotional. Just a warm knowing that I was in God’s loving embrace…centered and unified there.”
