Coaching Insight

There will come a time when God will inspire you to do something. An inspiration straight from the Divine, it will knock on your heart and sit in your soul. Your mind may try to refuse it, yet the voice only gets louder. The word inspiration comes from in-spirit. These ideas, thoughts, and intuitions are communications from the Divine.

Sometimes they are too abstract to grasp, or they trigger fear because they stretch us beyond comfort. Yet when true inspiration arrives, it carries a high essence of truth. Truth about you, or about what needs to appear in the world. You become a channel for this Divine inspiration. As designer Shosha Kamal shares when speaking about her humanity-driven projects: “I am just a delivery.” Something greater flows through us.

When you feel lost, scattered by the noise of the world, return to the essence of the verse as a compass: “Follow what is revealed to you”. The Quran is not just a text, it is a current. Let it carry you.

It’s about surrendering with love, allowing the inspiration or intention to flow like a river without blocks. All the prophets had profound revelations, each calling humanity to wake up and find God. Sometimes your ideas are not meant for you alone; they’re meant for others to experience – a seed within you that comes to life in the world. Remember, God is with you in every step.

“The work wants to come through you. The sooner you surrender to this, the more freely it can flow”

Rick Rubin

Daily Practice

Today, reflect on a calling that’s been quietly knocking on your heart.

Know that this calling is from God.

Open the door. Sit with it. Speak with this idea, this dream.

Be willing to bring it into the world.

God only asks for your effort, the impact is His.
Just take the first step.

Book Reference

“Characteristics of resistance: It is invisible, it’s repelling, it’s negative, it’s internal. It is not peripheral opponents. It is insidious, it’ll say anything- it will fabricate, falsify, bully, it will assume any form. It will reason with you like a lawyer or jam a 9 mm like a stickup man. It has no conscious, it will pledge anything to get a deal then double cross you when your back is turned. If you take resistance at it’s word, you deserve everything you get.”

The War of Art – Steven Pressfield

  • “Creativity is God’s gift to us. Using our creativity is our gift back to God.
  • The refusal to be creative is self-will and is counter to our true nature.
  • When we open ourselves to exploring our creativity, we open ourselves to God: good orderly direction.
  • As we open our creative channel to the creator, many gentle but powerful  changes are to be expected.
  • It is safe to open ourselves up to greater and greater creativity.
  • Our creative dreams and yearnings come from a divine source.
  • As we move toward our dreams, we move toward our divinity.”
