Prayer & Manifestation
“And when My servants ask you about Me, I Am near; I answer the call of the caller when he calls on Me. So let them answer Me, and have faith in Me, that they may be rightly guided.”
Surah Al-Baqarah 2:186
‘Ask God and you shall receive’. It’s no coincidence that this ideology appears in the Quran, the Bible and almost all other spiritual and business teachings as well.
There is a sea of abundance ready for you to tune into through prayer and faith. Metaphysics explains that everything is connected through a field of energy. Our prayers and thoughts are instantly transmitted to the universe through frequencies, impacting everything around you. The universe, law of attraction, destiny; this is all God hearing your prayers and placing them on the path.
Prayer is also a moment when the inner and outer worlds align. Neuroscience shows that deep prayer and intention-setting shift the brain into alpha and theta waves; states associated with calmness, clarity, and higher insight. This way, prayer becomes a state of being, not just something ‘we do’
Anxious asking, or prayer, may bring impatience or anxiety, whilst asking with trust and faith brings a totally different loving energy. We often get caught up with how the prayer will be answered, yet that’s not our role. Our role is to ask, believe, and then let go. We need to fully trust the process and surrender.
It is also beautiful to remember that ‘Allah Al-‘Aleem’ (The All-Knowing) and ‘Al-Baseer’ (The All-Seeing) provides what is truly best for you, even when it differs from what you desire. Lastly, remember to make space to listen and to receive.
“Remember, God may answer the silent prayers of your heart even when your mind seeks another path”
Deena Fadel
Today, reflect on prayers you made in the past and how they became a reality.
Write a prayer list across different areas of your life: health, relationships, career, and self-development. Then write down prayers for any person or entity.
Before you begin, take a few deep breaths, close your eyes, and tune into your heart. Listen with depth.
Repeat this Divine characteristic throughout your day: “Ya Allah, Ya Mujeeb” (The Responder to Prayer).
“Why don’t we send out a signal that will produce a positive outcome for us? How can we change so that the signal we send out matches what we intend
to produce in our lives? We will change when we fully commit to the belief that by choosing the thought/signal we send out, we will produce an effect that is observable and unexpected.”
Break The Habit of Being Yourself – Dr. Joe Dispenza
“If He opens for you a door of knowing Him, do not be concerned if you have little outward action. For He only opened it for you because He wishes to make Himself known to you. And if He gives you permission to ask, then know that He wishes to give to you.”
Al-Ḥikam al-ʿAṭā’iyya (Aphorism 6) – Ibn ʿAta’illah al-Iskandari (d. 1309)
“Once we unite the outer form of prayer with our inner presence we begin our journey into the embrace of God through the stating of our intention (niyah). The clarity of our intention helps align our mind, body, and soul in workship.”
