Day 36:

Internal Transformation

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوْمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُوا۟ مَا بِأَنفُسِهِمْ ۗ

“Allah does not change a people’s condition unless they change their inner selves.”

Surah Al-Ra’d 13:11

Coaching Insight

Many self-help books recommend visualization and positive thinking as methods for manifestation and change, yet often no significant transformation actually occurs. The key lies not just in your thoughts, but in the depths of your heart.

This verse unfolds the truth: real transformation begins when your internal environment shifts. As you transform into a sea of love, emitting high frequencies, God enables the universe to answer with elevated energies.

If your heart holds grudges, jealousy, and fear, these states will overshadow even the most optimistic mind. When love, self-worth, and honor flood your heart, you will witness a transformation in your surroundings.

Modern research by the HeartMath Institute supports this spiritual truth. The heart emits the strongest electromagnetic field in the human body, far greater than that of the brain. When we are in states of peace, love, or gratitude, this field becomes coherent and radiates harmony, influencing the people and environment around us. The heart holds your deepest secret. Begin from its center, and watch love flow through every part of your life.

As Kabir Helmenski mentions in the ‘Living Presence’ book: “The transformation of the world begins with the transformation of the self.”

“Outer changes always begin with an inner change of attitude.”

Albert Einstein

Daily Practice

For the Mind: Begin by contemplating the direction you desire for your life.

For the Heart: Close your eyes and imagine all the loving qualities being poured into your heart. Visualize your heart as a magnet attracting the same loving nature.

For example, when we refer to the abundance of money, it does not have to stem from greed, but rather can emerge from an abundant open heart that has faith in the power of God.

Today, allow your heart to reflect on a few of God’s names:  ‘Al-Wadūd’ (The All-Loving), ‘Al-Karīm’ (The Generous), and ‘Al-Nūr’ (The Light).

“So if we want to change some aspect of our reality, we have to think, feel, and act in new ways; we have to “be” different in terms of our responses to experiences. We have to “become” someone else. We have to create a new state of mind … we need to observe a new outcome with that new mind.”
