Water Is Life
“And We created from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?”
Surah Al-Anbya 21;30
Water is not just a substance; it is energy in motion. The truly fascinating thing is that water is alive. According to Dr. Emoto’s research, when water is exposed to different emotions, it forms different crystalline structures under magnification. Positive words and prayers create beautiful, symmetrical patterns, while negative ones form disordered shapes. Water is a miracle that reflects how energy and intention shape life.
Our bodies, made up of 60 – 75% water, reflect this divine design. We are shaped by it and sustained by it. Physically, without water, a human can survive only a few days. In the animal kingdom, entire migrations follow its trail. Wherever water exists, life pulses. Spiritually and emotionally, every thought, every emotion, and every prayer impacts the water within us.
An arid desert may appear lifeless, yet with a single rainfall, it blooms with wild, untamed beauty. Ancient civilizations flourished only where fresh water flowed; temples were never far from its source. Almost all religions and traditions use water as a means of purification. From Shinto temples in Japan to Muslim ablution and Christian baptism, clean water purifies and clears our inner and outer spaces. Water clears both the seen and the unseen. It purifies, prepares, and awakens. Where water exists, life exists.
“You are not a drop in the ocean. You are the entire ocean in a drop.”
Rumi
Observe water in your surroundings in its different forms. Watch an ice cube melt, clouds in the sky, waves move, or water flow through a stream. What is this element teaching you?
Listen to the sounds of water – rain, waterfalls, ocean waves for five minutes. Notice how your body feels before and after. Water naturally soothes the nervous system.
To visualize its purifying power, try this: fill a clear jar with water and add a drop of dark ink. Notice how the water clouds. Then, keep adding fresh water until it turns clear again. This mirrors how water, through showers, ablution, or tears clears our energy, calms emotions, and washes away heaviness.
“Water covers much of the earth. It pervades the skies. It fills your cells – to a greater extent than you might be aware. Your cells are two-thirds water by volume; however, the water molecule is so small that if you were to count every single molecule in your body, 99% of them would be water molecules. That many water molecules are needed to make up the two-thirds volume. […] Since water is everywhere, you might reasonably conclude that we understand it completely. I challenge you to confirm that common presumption.”

“This precious substance is an essential component of our physical and spiritual being. We are water, and it is in our genuine interest to understand the true nature of this substance that plays such extraordinary roles in the creation, maintenance, and evolution of life. Some see it as an organism with its own life cycle.”
